Jessica Stevens MFHT, HDipCT (VTCT) Holistic Massage
Jessica grew up in Fairford and is local to the area. She attended Farmors school for A’levels and sixth form and at the age of 19 relocated to Bath to begin her journey into Complementary Therapies. It was during this time that she began to experience panic attacks and was diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder. This was at times debilitating which made every living day a challenge. It was at this point that Jess reached out for help and began counselling. In addition she began exploring other natural therapies such as Aromatherapy as well as learning about the importance of good and appropriate nutrition to support her during this difficult time.
In 2009, she enrolled at Bath College and began studying for her Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Complementary Therapies (VTCT). Jess soon realised that what initially started out as a personal interest had evolved into a calling as she realised that she wanted to help others who were facing their own challenges.
Jess continues to refresh and update her skills and has trained in Neal’s Yard Holistic Facials in Covent Garden, London. She is also trained to work with clients in pregnancy in both Massage and Reflexology.
Jess has worked in all elements of practice such as Spas, clinics, festival and well-being events as well as voluntary roles including Women’s refuge centres. Whilst she enjoys working in every aspect of Complementary Therapy and with a diverse range of clients, she has a keen interest in working with individuals who are coping in times of stress, anxiety and during life transitions.
Jess is fully insured and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
