Geoff Holmes – Counsellor
Geoff Holmes is an experienced counsellor who works with a range of therapeutic approaches to match the client’s needs.
Geoff’s experience of 25 years in talking therapies, has been gained through work in addictions and in ‘generic’ counselling settings. His specialism for the past 20 years has been in workplace counselling, including stress and anxiety management. He also provides professional support for managers in organisations seeking to develop/adapt their skills in supporting others.
Geoff works with individuals and with couples.
Geoff says about his work: ‘I tend to work short to mid-term with clients, (on average around 8 sessions), collaborating with them to identify therapeutic goals and the kinds of outcomes individuals want to achieve through counselling. Clients and colleagues tell me (without too much prompting!) that I am warm and approachable as well as being focussed in identifying how best clients can be supported and empowered.’
